Looking for a farm stay?
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!

Location was excellent - very secluded and private. Very comfortable caravan and well equipped. There was plenty of charcoal and logs for the fire pit and the min8 bottles of Prosecco were a welcome added extra. Also, it was only a two minute walk back to the farm and a very easy one , just round the edge of the adjacent field and not twenty minutes as some people have claimed

So much better than expected, lodge was clean comfy with great equipment & fixtures & furnishings. Made great use of the jacuzzi, sauna, ice bath & shower. The whole place is relaxing & peaceful & has lovely restaurants & a little shop for essentials in reception. Absolutely loved the petting farm & enchanted forest. My little dogs loved it too. Last but by no means least the staff were so friendly, helpful, caring, fun & down to earth. Thank you so much & I’ll be back soon xx

The shepherd’s hut is cute and cosy, and deceptively spacious inside! The bathroom was clean and modern, and the bed was SO comfortable. The kitchen was the ideal size & had everything we needed (although we did choose to BBQ every night!). The location in the corner of the field gave some privacy and overlooking the farm animals was really calming.

It was a nice spacious pod for the 2 of us in a rural setting..It sounds silly but there were plenty of plug sockets,I've stayed in a pod before and you have to keep swapping things around all the time.

As expected. Reasonable room, odd sliding barn door into en-suite - saves space. Not much space but sufficient for an overnight stay. Useful restaurant & bar.

The size of the room and the bed were excellent. The room was well decorated if not slightly dated but that actually is to our taste to top notch! The swimming pool and gym were excellent and the meal at the Farmers over the road was very tasty. Great stay overall.

Brilliant location, lovely quiet, lovely little shop with everything thing you could need. But close enough to town for anything else. Great for exploring, or just a rural retreat. Staff are lovely, couldn't be more helpful.
