The property was beautiful, such pretty scenery on the farmland as you drive up to the lodge. Inside is so cozy and warm and very clean, everything was set out neatly for our arrival and instructions for wifi and heater etc were in a brochure. The grass garden part attached outside is lovely, only disappointed we had heavy rain during our entire stay but it was still a great experience
This cottage is one of the best we have stayed in Scotland. So comfortable, cosy and in an ideal location. The owners were lovely and great hosts! We loved watching all the animals on the farm out the windows, and the view over the fields was so relaxing. Would recommend 100% !
We enjoyed the cottage so much in 2022 that we came back for a return visit. The cottage is warm and comfortable with everything we needed. We particularly liked the wood-burning stove and the fresh farm eggs. The host Gale was very friendly and welcoming. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We found a lovely woodland walk with magnificent Autumn colours and that evening we had a really nice meal at the small hotel in the village. Strongly recommended.

Gale just thinks of everything and is so happy to help you when you need it. They are the most friendliest family and for our farm obsessed boys seeing all the tractors, harvesters, tele handlers etc is just the perfect place to be. We did adventure out and they even put in there welcome book all the places to visit which is so helpful

Gale was an excellent host as we had a powerr cut for 16hrs, arranged a portable stove, candles, lights, power bank etc.

Nice quiet rural location on the outskirts of the Milltown of Rothiemay, main roads easily reached. Host Gale was lovely & welcoming. We really enjoyed our family stay. The cottage had everything we needed. Nice being on a working farm and seeing the hens, calfs and lambs, cows & sheep. Enjoyed going out for a walk in the evening. Nearest shop in Huntly.
