Gorgeous farm setting with plenty of space to walk and see farm animals and gorgeous scenery. Beautiful buildings and so clean. Our accommodation was upgraded, so this was a lovely surprise when we arrived. Such a friendly host and happy to help if needed. Lovely local pubs not too far away.
We stayed in Wally's Wife which is stunning! The accommodation and facilities are excellent and cover all of your needs.
The location is beautiful and peaceful and it feels private as the various pods etc are nicely spaced out.
We have stayed in many 'hot tub' glamping locations and always feel that they are ridiculously overpriced and often lack something but Skipridge Farm ticks every box!
We are already planning to book again in August and for more than one night.
The key was in our cottage door when we arrived. The cottage was well equipped and we had everything we needed during our 3 night stay. The lounge looks onto the courtyard and it was nice to see the various farm animals when they were nearby. The location, approx 9 miles from York and Knaresborough in either direction, was very convenient for exploring the area.
We had such a wonderful time, it's a great place to switch off from daily life. The location is amazing, close to York and very private - just be careful with the address, Google Maps sends you somewhere completely random! The Shepherd's hut was generally very clean and the hot tub was a great place to sit and relax - a very private space too! Each hut is really dog-friendly and secure, there is a fence all the way round so that your dog can be free to roam without you having to worry about them getting out onto the farm.
Great value for money, gorgeous setting. Animals were an added bonus and a pleasure to watch. Owners were very helpful and visible.
The hot tub was great and easy to manage. The hut itself was lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable night.
I could only assume the farm would be a fabulous wedding venue.
The communication from staff prior to our stay was very helpful, excellent detail had gone into all their work at the farm. Could really see they were passionate about they do. Lovely to see speak to the staff and be able to have a walk about. Attention to detail was outstanding in Wally's Wagon. Loved the name board for where you parked the car. The hottub was excellent too, had a very handy flat table inside to stand drinks and spacious
Incredible place, absolutely loved waking up to the animals and were joined by the farm car by the hot tub. Lovely Chinese up the road which wasn't to far at all. Staff even started our car when it wouldn't start. Lovely little attention to detail
The location was great, 12 minutes in the train from York and it was proper rural countryside, gorgeous surroundings and a lovely little farm spot. The cottage was comfortable and warm, hot tub a great place to relax. Hot tub is huge and kitchen well equipped, and comfy beds
