For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
It was a very comfortable well equipped cottage.. modern and part of a barn conversion.. no noise from nearby caravan park and close to several beaches..we stayed an extra night and would love to return soon.
Our stay at the Barn was absolutely wonderful. It was like a home away from home, comfortable and clean. Jane was very helpful and was just a phone call away. It's so close to the beach which has the most beautiful sunsets with unspoilt snand and not many tourists. We were welcomed by Jane with lovely Welsh cakes and milk in the fridge, ready for a cup of tea. The games room is the cherry on top. If you don't feel like going out, you have a games room right next to you. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering.
The cottage is very clean and complete with everything you need. There is also a washing machine with tumble drier and dishwasher.
Plenty of parking space. It was perfect for us, my asd son enjoyed the wide open space nearby (farm steadings).
There is a game area with billiards, table tennis, foosball table and etc.
The owner too is very helpful.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Third stay on the farm. First stay in this cottage which is lovely. Very quiet for relaxing and sleeping. Good location for trips out, walks along the beach or over the hills. Will visit again.
Excellent rural location very peaceful setting & within easy reach of Barmouth & Harlech. Some lovely unspoiled beaches even closer great for dog walking.
Accommodation was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden area too. Easy to communicate with owners. We had an issue with the heating but it was promptly sorted same day.
Bryn Teg Barn is in a wonderful location with stunning views. There are numerous things to do nearby whether it be walking in the hills, going to the beach or eating out.
The barn itself was spotless and Keith and Bethan had already got the fire going for us when we checked in. They were tremendous hosts, made sure we had everything we needed and couldn't have made us feel more welcome.
Breakfast was really nice with fresh local ingredients from their farm. It was the perfect start to the day.
Everything!
It was our second time at Bryn Teg Barn, we spent a week in July and fallen in love.
We particularly liked a peaceful location, with beautiful views and sunsets.
The barn is cosy, clean and comfy, with the wood burner which was a bonus.
Bethan and Keith are great hosts, nothing is too much to ask.
I can highly recommend the place, it has a great vibe, we definitely will be back!
