Superb accommodation set in peaceful rural location. Very large bedroom with very comfortable mattress. Nicely furnished living room with lovely view over fields and hills. Everything worked well in kitchen and bathroom. Well maintained and clean property. Pleasant and friendly hosts.
Lots of space, amazing views and a thriving farm to explore for walks. Simon and Phillipa were both extremely warm and welcoming even being kind to enough to provide a couple of eggs when I didn’t get to the shops in time on the first night and a thermos as I forgot mine.
The dogs were the highlight for my wee pooch, who loved playing with them… whereas for me, it was sitting in the window seat with a good book and cup of tea and cuddles with the lambs and horses!
The location of the property is glorious, with lovely countryside views and a lovely peaceful, rural setting. My son loved the horse (Rosie?) and the very friendly dogs which made his bike rides all the more fun. The cottage had everything we needed and with really comfortable beds and a wonderful window seat in the lounge it was easy to feel well rested. Philippa and her husband made us feel very welcome.
We had an amazing time at Boreland Farm. It was very clean ,beautiful area and views. The owners are a lovely family and so helpful. My 12 year old son helped on the farm with the lambs and had the best time . The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. We will definitely going back 😍
Location is gorgeous, real working farm, great views, hosts encourage you to explore and meet the animals (sheep, horses, ducks, chickens) The hosts were lovely interesting people, knowledgeable and great to talk to. My son and I had a ball! The house itself is beautiful, comfy beds, equipped kitchen, clean large shower, dvds and dvd player etc. Definitely recommend for those seeking outdoors/farm life.
As artists, we found many beautiful things to paint in this lovely farm setting. Animals, buildings, scenery - all gorgeous. Our hosts were wonderful.
