Hosts were very helpful in making sure we could find the place easily. There was lots of lovely attention to detail. Games to play .Milk had been left for us in the fridge so we could have a cuppa. Really cosy atmosphere when we walked in fairy lights and lamps had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot the bed was extra comfy. Not a single complaint . Might benefit from a matt as you walk in though the door matt outside was very wet from the snow/ rain we didn't want to walk wet shoes in. Wonderful stay .

We were looking for an environmental holiday that offered us something different to a conventional hotel and we definitely got that, the wood burner was set us ready to go when we arrived but we didn’t use it , the property kept a good temp inside for the mild weather on the outside .
Exceptional sunrise from
The hut a wonderful view on this working farm .

The cottage was clean. Idea was good, being a farmhouse. Nice welcome basket and basics were in place. Decent game room - kids had fun.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The room was extremely well appointed. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was amazing. We had a full English breakfast laid out each day in a lovely breakfast room and felt extremely spoiled.
We loved walking in the garden and the farm, visiting the horses and petting the dogs. We were also fortunate to be able to enjoy the field of sunflowers.
Victoria and Jeffrey were welcoming and charming. Victoria was very helpful with our daily itinerary which helped us have a great time in the Cotswolds.
It was a beautiful setting in a lovely old manor farmhouse. The welcome we received from our host was second to none and provided excellent hospitality. Couldn’t ask for any better.
I stayed at Cromhall Farm as I was working in the local area and I can confirm that it is a great property that definitely feels like a home away from home. The breakfast pieces were a welcome delight and ensured it was easy to settle in for my weeks stay.
The outdoor, rustic, farm house living was as advertised. We wanted a quiet retreat to switch off from the city to go go and we go that at Shirehill. We spent the day in Bath and came back to Shirehill at 16:30 and had a lovely evening. We went for a hike through the valley following the map provided and bonded with sheep, horses and nature ☺️
The whole experience!
Delightful 300yr old farmhouse, wonderful hosts, idyllic setting, fabulous breakfast and veey comfortable bed & bedroom.
