For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Ideal for the kids with the park and the farm. Good location for travel. House was very clean and had all the amenities required, including wet room and disabled facilities which my elderly parents really appreciated.
Lovely quiet location. Very clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. As a solo female traveler I felt very comfortable at Crich Lane Farm and would certainly recommend it. I very much hope I will be able to stay there again.
We had a lovely room in a converted barn which was spotlessly clean and very spacious with everything you could want. The breakfast was fabulous. The hosts were lovely too.
I stayed at Crich Farm more than 20 years ago and there have been some changes but the most important fact that hasnt changed is the hospitality that you receive from checking in through to breakfast in the morning. My room was lovely fabulous en-suite and quiet, and very clean. I asked for gluten free toast for my breakfast and absolutely no problem.
Clean room, well appointed, lovely staff and great breakfast (good quality sausage and bacon) cooked to order. A working farm, with nice local walks and views across the countryside. Great value.
The surroundings are beautiful, Elliot house was lovely and the park was fab for our children. The best part of our holiday was taking the children to the orchard and feeding the animals. Farmer Vic was the most kind and lovely man and the children loved him and he went beyond to give them the best experience. We will definitely be returning!
Really lovely house with great facilities and lovely rooms and bathrooms. The kids loved feeding all the animals with Farmer Vic and we also really enjoyed the sports area facilities! We did get woken up fairly early by the peacocks, but that's part of being in the countryside. We had a great weekend.
Welcoming hostess, efficient and friendly. She checked my details on arrival. Excellent room with high quality finish, spacious bathroom and immaculately clean. Beautiful setting as part of a farm, with the B & B part in a purpose built wing. Good, freshly-cooked breakfast in a bright dining room. I felt welcomed and safe and also independent and private. They have many returning regulars, and I'm not surprised. Highly recommend.
Pleasant staff. Very interesting rural situation and we think they have done a wonderful job converting farm buildings into guest accommodation. Very helpful advice on where to eat.
