For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautiful farmhouse in quiet surroundings but still close to Montauban. Very helpful host. Wonderful breakfast - not a cooked one but lovely fresh bread, home made jams, croissants, yoghurt, etc. Coffee is very strong!
A beautiful house in a rural setting. Not much around it but very peaceful and there is no reason to venture out. We had a fabulous meal in the evening - advised in advance by Axelle. Good breakfast. Amazing rooms
As evident from the photos, a lovely stylish room in an ancient manor house. Franck was a gracious host, full of stories about the property's history. Situated in a peaceful rural location, it was only a short drive into town for dinner. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and a good breakfast including scrambled eggs.
Beautiful old farmhouse where breakfast is served. Accommodation in separate modernised building. Very private. Quiet location but easy to access. Excellent breakfast at very reasonable price.
Very warm & cosy during cold winter spell.
Easy access off motorway. Beautiful old farmhouse. Room comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast had homemade bread, yoghurt. Could have done with some fresh fruit. Good parking. Marielle was a lovely, attentive host.
What a lovely spot to stop on a visit to Montauban! Close enough in for convenience - only a few minutes by car ' but out in the peaceful countryside. It's is part of a working farm, and we rather like the that that our host nipped back from the fields to offer a warm welcome. Excellent home-cooked duck supper was just what we had hoped for and breakfast excellent too.
