The layout was unique, with the living area separated from the sleeping area by a rustic partitioned (hard to describe) wall. The bathroom was quite large and had his and hers sinks. Our balcony was also large, and located on the scenic side of the hotel. Breakfast was extensive and very good, but we didn't use the restaurant for any other meals.
Train station at the location is convenient. Lots of restaurants choices at the location.

I liked that it was up the hill and out of town - very quiet.
Very nice host, sweet lady who lives downstairs and is very helpful. The apartment is rustic and very cozy, it gives you a nice home-in-the-mountains feeling. Close to a station, good starting point for hikes, close to downtown but far enough away from the overcrowded touristic center.
Really beautiful hotel with an amazing view and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had with fresh cheese and other dairy products straight from the family’s farm. I loved staying here and will definitely be returning if I’m ever back in Grindlewald.
A real home from home in a great location with fantastic views. Close to everything but with a rural feeling. We couldn't wish for a better place to stay in Grindelwald. Magdelena and Jurg are very kind and welcoming, meeting us at the station and taking us back there at the end of the week. We walked to all the cablecar and railway station but the ski bus is only 3 minutes walk away.
Comfortable, equipped kitchen, clean. Great location, although not in the center of the Grindelwald. Bus 123 passes by to/from Terminal, Bahnhof, First. A 15-minute walking tour to Terminal in the early morning is even better. Landi supermarket 5 minutes away by foot. Ski slope 22 passes 200 meters above the property. Beautiful view to the mountains. Hosts have a small sheep farm, makes you feel a bit rural after the city.
And finally, the hostess is very kind and responsive!
