The calm, the rural location, but near accessible cities, the outstanding welcome, the exceptional services including in-room infrared sauna, the beautiful rooms with whirlpool jets and black out automatic blinds, the A/C on that hot weekend, the 10pm jacuzzi session outside under the stars, the swimming pool, the best hosts. The amazingly comfortable bed, the minibar, the coffee and tea making facilities,. It was better than 75% of hotels and far cleaner and better finished.
Friendly owners and going the extra mile with dinner. The place is very rural which is good, but in order to get to the room you have to climb a very steep ladder, what is not a pleasure with luggage or a handbag.

The lodge was beautiful- idyllic- super clean- rustic and cosy- food was soured out locally and delicious

I love to come back to this place regularly. The location is excellent for having a base while hiking around this wonderful area of La Gleize, La Venne, Coo and Moulin du Ruy. The house has its rustic charm. The owner is very kind, flexible and helpful.
