We just spent three nights at Wallinga Farmstay with another family and had a wonderful time! The cabins are very spacious and contain everything needed for the trip. Lots of little extras, like kids games and books. The farm is quiet and offers lots of room for the kids to run around and play. Very close to town, so easy to pop in for supplies. The kids loved having the outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows. We enjoyed doing the farm tour and getting to meet farmer Cooper. He was very knowledgeable!
Absolutely beautiful tranquil property set just outside town. The farmhouse comes equipped with everything we needed plus more. The playroom, toys and outdoor equipment are great for a young family and the property was good for 3 generations sharing. Generous spaces to rest, cook, eat and entertain. The hosts were very obliging and helpful. We loved the pizza oven and firepit and really enjoyed the space for our Easter Egg Hunt!
From the moment we arrived we felt wonderfully welcomed by our hosts. The location is as quiet as a farmstay but less than 2min to town. Loved the quiet nooks inside and out to relax in, and the breakfast was cafe quality. Loved the fresh baked bread each morning ! Bath towels were super fluffy and although we didn't try it, the onsite massage facility was a great extra.

Loved how peaceful it was, modern farm stay feels thats not too far away from town. On a clear night, the night sky is amazing! Alina was a great host and was quick to reply to any questions I had.
Property is equipped with everything you need for a weekender, appreciate the small touches like books and games for the kids.
The kids love that the sheeps and alpaca on the farm, lovely watching them graze away in the evening roaming the property (they come close to the cabin).
A fantastic location, close to town and far enough away to not hear anything but nature!
The stars were amazing as we sat around the fire pit.
The kitchen was well stocked, the lounge was so comfortable and it was very well styled for a farm stay.
It was lovely to be able to explore the property freely. It was our first farm stay, so it was very refreshing to experience the farm land and be amongst the animals. The property is extremely cosy as well.
The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, unbelievably comfy and definitely cosy, the easy access in and out of the property was great and the convenience of being only 5mins outside of town. I will definitely be looking to stay a Wallinga Farmstay every time I visit Mudgee.
Absolutely loved the farm stay. Cabin was very new, beautifully decorated, smart design, big fridge, bbq, fire pit, heaps provided to keep the kids entertained, sheep and alpaca on the farm, bottle of wine on arrival! location felt very remote yet only 5mins from Mudgee. We will definitely be back.
