The wood fire was great It kept the cottage toasty warm and was already on when we got there which was a lovely welcome
The sheep on the farm which we visited and hand fed every morning and arvo with the grand daughter
They were very tame and followed her to her delight
The ability to hike around the farm freely and see the running creeks and kangaroos and abundance of birds and large areas to check out
Nice big bathroom in our cottage. Property very clean. Kitchen well stocked with cutlery, crockery, pots n pans.
Lovely rural location but still only 5 minutes from Denmark.
The bath is fantastic (especially after a busy day visiting some of the many attractions in the area).
The included breakfast provided a full range of options for a good start to the day.
Lovely touches including the free evening port and access to shared kitchen and BBQ facilities if wanted.
Lovely well designed Chalet with elevated views over the farm. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Lovely balcony to sit back and relax or have a bbq with the friendly Kookaburras and Magpies who come for a feed. Karrak Reach is dog friendly with some lovely walks in the bushland nearby. All round a lovely quiet place to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
We absolutely loved our stay in the peaceful little farm, listening to the sounds of nature - the birds in the trees, the frogs in the creek and the resident ewes bleating (Panda was our favourite!) The alpacas were very entertaining too, we can see where leaner got his name! It was a nice clean cosy place to come back to after a day of exploring, and kick back with a glass of wine by the fire - and we can’t wait to come back!
Our Hosts were lovely people and staying on a farm with some cattle and produce was a nice change from your standard accommodation.

The photos exactly show how wonderful this property really is. The luxury appointments and inclusions allowed us to take 4 nights away from busy city life. The peace and quiet of farm life are well appreciated. A perfectly presented cabin, with amazing views. We sat around the open fire and enjoyed spotting shooting stars!
A beautiful rural location within driving distance to town. The house was immaculately clean and well-maintained. There were two bedrooms (one main and one with bunk bed) and open plan living room area, dining area and kitchen. Great to have a washing machine and outdoor washing line. Parking was by house.
Staying at the new farmhouse was an incredible experience! The modern comforts seamlessly blended with the natural beauty of the farm surroundings. The spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and cozy living areas made it feel like a home away from home. Plus, nights full of stars and waking up to the sights and sounds of the farm added an extra layer of tranquility to the stay. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life!
Staff were very friendly, communicative and helpful. They made a difference to the stay. The experience with the farm animals, facilitated by the staff was great too. Good location that's not too far from everything. Overall a great farmstay experience!
