For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Lovely stay in the middle of the rainforest. Kids loved the pool, table tennis, trampoline and abundance of toys/games/dvds to enjoy between relaxing and enjoying the best of the Daintree. Fruit farm was delicious - chocolate pudding fruit with cream the best of treats! So many places to relax in the surrounding natural beauty.
Great quiet location, easy walking distance to Cape Trib village and rain forest boardwalk. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owners. Fresh bowl of assorted tropical fruits grown on the farm for breakfast each morning.
We loved the room and outside cooking area. The Farm had everything you could possibly need and looked exactly like the photos and more. Great facilities to cook in, as well as a pizza oven. Makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The complimentary breakfast with farm picked fruit, bread, jam and cereals made for a unique experience. The family were so helpful and kind. Will be returning one day!
Very rustic feel to the place. Big log cabins. Had the whole 4 bed dorm to myself. Kitchen cleaned daily. Washing machines, dryers, and a clothes line were available. Lots of trees around the place and a pool. Short boardwalk through the forest to the beach. Walking distance to most attractions in Cape Trib. Reception was helpful and would book things for you if asked.
The owners were more then welcoming & very knowledgeable about not only the fruits on the farm but the surrounding area.
Excellent place to unwind & relax.
Away from the madding crowd, peaceful and rural, yet close by all of the great things about the Cape. A nice stay, easy going hosts and other staff who keep the farm in good shape. Very pleasant. And the exotic fruits served at breakfast are an experience not to be missed. Also the off grid experience is , in itself, quite educational.
Charming, simple but stylish and comfortable cabin in beautiful setting, looking over the fruit orchard to Mount Sorrow. Breakfast left in Farmhouse kitchen with everything like fresh coffee, tea available. Amazing fruit basket to try and their homemade jams. Flask.of hot water and tea coffee and milk brought to your cabin first thing.. Best thing are all the lovely family and staff making you welcome . We will certainly return if at all possible!
