For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
We loved our weekend at Maple Lane! The accomodation is a lovely design. Given the time of year, I was expecting the farm to be cold, however I was so happy when we arrived to a warm fire. The accomodation also has 3 split systems so we were very warm and comfortable. I enjoyed seeing the cows around the accomodation. The place was so clean and tidy, bathrooms were spotless. We would recommend and come back again!
It was a wonderful quiet spot in a lovely small rural city. It was very comfortable and we really appreciated the provisions for breakfast as well as some nibbles and a bottle of wine. It is close to cafés and restaurants as well as the beautiful and extensive parks and gardens by the river. We also had an excellent bike ride on quiet country roads.
Great hosts, interaction with farm animals and tiny kangaroos. Very quiet location. Great meal at the golf club close buy.
