For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautiful property with lots to see and do, inside and out. Very clean, and well-appointed. Quiet and rural feel just a lovely stroll from town. Excellent communications from host. We would go back, and would thoroughly recommend to others.
Absolutely perfect farmstay! A must stay! Quiet and relaxing. Lots to explore on the property. The host met us on arrival, gave us a quick tour of the house. The house was extremely clean. All the staff at the cellar door were lovely and helpful. A lovely weekend with extended family.
A well designed modern new open plan home . The three bedrooms are well separated and quite , the kitchen full of all conceivable pot and kitchen implement.
The quality of the house itself and the furnishings showed good taste ,was calming . The large semi rural property ,trees and a small dam an invitation to local wildlife, the Eastern Spinbills feeding from the Kangaroo Paw our favourite.
The accommodation is set in a beautiful location overlooking farm land and beyond to hills. If you are seeking a special away from it place you will enjoy Glenbosch.Management are extremely supportive .
We stayed for 3 nights in Beechworth Cedar Cottages. Set in beautiful gardens our 2 bedroom cottage (named Ingram) had been very well maintained and was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was provided and the facilities generally in the cottage were excellent. I cannot recommend Beechworth Cedar Cottages more highly than to say that we found our cottage to be, without doubt, the best we have stayed in during many trips through the rural areas of Victoria, NSW and South Australia.
The location is about a 10 min walk from town.it’s close to the road, but our room at the back looked out on a rural view and was free of road noise. There was a nice balcony with table and chairs, an attractive place to watch the sun set. The room (an executive double) was spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished and had a kitchenette. We were grateful that our hosts rang us shortly after checkout to advise us we had left an item of luggage behind, and kept it safe for us to pick up from Reception.
Welcoming, peaceful & relaxing place.
Delightful accommodation, sitting out on the veranda with a wine or cuppa you are surrounded by gorgeous rural views, of beautiful trees & hills. Birds galore.
So quiet, you feel a thousand miles from any stress.
Don't expect an ultra modern, 5 star bathroom & kitchen. This is a rustic, spacious, very comfortable & homely cabin, well crafted from a bygone era.
