Wonderful farm stay, in a wonderful house and environment. The owners very really kind, their own dairy products are amazing and rich. Being close to the nature and to animals is a real uplifting and relaxing feeling.

Woderful location at the very end of the Fuschl village surrounded by medows and forests only. There is absolute silience and darkness in the night and quiteness and privacy during the day. Yet it takes only 10 minutes walking to get to the Fuschl center with restaurants and lake beach. The flat is spacious, newly equipped with everything functional and absolutely clean. The location is good for someone staying in Werfen since its near the attractions, and not far from the train station. The breakfast was good and she accommodated our breakfast needs.

I was just incredible stay, super clean apartment, beautiful view on lake, private beach about 200m from home, very nice hosts, perfect location. We could also charge our car just in front of the house. Mrs. Hofner is also certified consultant of TEM (European Traditional Medicine) and you can also buy eggs, honey or fruit, herbal tee etc form their farm. In Fuschl am See you can also buy hand made bread in old water mill but just on Tuesday and need to be ordered. We are very grateful for stay and inspiration. Thank you

We loved everything about this property and the hosts. Anita met us on arrival to introduce us to the apartment and all the facilities and nearby attractions. Anita was around throughout our visit as its a working farm, and regularly checked if all was ok, allowed us to watch the cow milking, and arranged fresh milk (from the cows) and local bakery deliveries each morning. Anita came to see us off at the end of our visit, and kept in touch on WhatsApp to check we got home ok, a lovely lady.
The facilities are amazing, the apartment very modern, with sauna and a pool we used most days (only open a few months in the year I understand). The farmhouse location is stunning, up a 2 mile driveway in the hills, and a short drive to nearby Abtenau with supermarkets, pedestrian areas, shops and restaurants.
We stayed 4 nights and used the farmhouse as a base to toboggan down mountains, traveling over the mountains to swim in the natural lake Wolfgangsee, sound of music tour from Salzburg, visiting Halstatt and the salt mines, etc etc..... We will visit again at some point, likely for a full week as there is so much to do here.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Staying in Fitzholf was an amazing experience. Picturesque to the core...extremely quiet. Property contains all the amenities as desired including a functional kitchen. The hosts are superb and ensured that our stay becomes memorable. They have an adjoining farm and witnessing same was enjoyable.

The accomodations were perfect for our family. The views are stunning from the place. Having farm fresh milk, eggs, and yogurt were a wonderful way to start our morning. My children loved getting to pet the cows and chickens. Elisabeth was very informative about the local area and provided us with great information on how to catch the train into Salzburg.

The house is very cosy and is fully equipped, not to mention the amazing views, both from inside and out.

Despite its secluded location, there are lots of things to do within a 45-minute driving radius.
What a beautiful farm in the Austrian Alps. This place exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. The sunsets were incredible, and the hosts were very lovely. They let our children watch them milk the cows, which was the highlight of the trip for them. We only wish we had stayed longer!

This was the perfect getaway for our family. Quiet location close to Salzburg, Hallstatt, the Eagles Nest, etc. Wili and Maria are gracious hosts, very helpful and courteous and the fresh eggs, milk, and bread in the mornings was excellent. Our kids absolutely loved the playground, trampoline, and barn. We spent a week in Austria and this farm allowed us to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life on the days we weren't out sightseeing. Highly recommend for families and we would definitely stay here again.
