Everything was homely and the view was excellent. Parking was easy. If visiting please note that the location is at the very end of the road and not half way along it as your sat nav might suggest.

It's a fantastic place for a family stay near the Austrian mountains and a picturesque lake! We had a small but well-equipped kitchen, a soft bed big enough for parents with a small child, and tranquility around the place every evening. Every morning, we started with freshly cooked eggs from the house (available for purchase through self-service) and delicious fresh yogurt (another self-service option just 200 meters away).
There are plenty of activities for children at the place: horse riding, feeding and petting farm animals, and playing on the private playground with a trampoline. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for another holiday in the area.
Surrounded by mountains and meadows, the Oberlehenhof is a family-run organic farm in a quiet location in Kaprun, a 10-minute walk from the village centre.

The location is ideal for summer active holiday - mountain hiking, biking, sightseeing etc. Surroundings of the property is beautiful - mountains and pastures, staying in the middle of nature, while towns and lakes are not too far. Location is perfect, quiet and beautiful, close to many activities around the area, I wish we could have stayed longer. The farm is amazing with many animals that you can observe and communicate with. Herzog family is very welcoming and you can see how much they take care of their farm.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
The Host - Evelyn and Christian are very warm and welcoming. The view from the room is excellent. Very relaxing place. A very well managed cow farm and excellent guided tour by Christian. Looking forward for a stay again.
Everything was just excellent. Genius loci of the place, old farm house renovated in a modern style, cozy and spacious apartment. Nice views to the valley. Piesendorf town center around the corner.
A truly rural atmosphere. If you like animals and contact with nature, this will be the place for you. Very helpful and friendly host. The apartment was huge, very clean and equipped with all amenities. Very good value for money.
Very friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Outside, there is a seating area in the garden and a playground for children, including a mud kitchen. On the courtyard, there is sometimes a strong smell of farm animals (but after all, it's a village, right?). The hosts are always willing to help in any situation.
Very nice and friendly family M&M. Hospitality is beyond our expectations! Apartment was very clean, all renovated and new inside despite the fact it's a very old house. Fireplace inside - very cozy atmosphere. The fabulous view on mountains. It's near the Kaprun and Zell am See, so you can drive both places in 10 minutes.
Special thanks for showing us a farm which is near by. Our children were excited.
