The family that manages the place is friendly and welcoming. The apartment is very spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen, even with two bathrooms! Everything was in working order, reflecting the care and maintenance of the place. The cleanliness standards are exceptionally high. This is a perfect place to work, with excellent internet connection and a very quiet environment. The village is a truly rural setting, with many houses having their own stables and agricultural equipment parked outside. You might even encounter a flock of goats or cows returning from grazing. Despite this, the village is incredibly clean and well-served for its size. There are two supermarkets, a bakery, two restaurants, a bank, and a tourist office. You can also request zero-mile food products directly from the owner, such as milk, butter, yogurt, and more. Even though it is in an isolated location, the road to get there is convenient, allowing easy travel to other famous places like Lienz, San Candido or Brunico. There are also beautiful trails nearby, starting directly from the village of Obertilliach, which is also served by a cable lift system. We will definitely be back!

We enjoy our stay at Monika's house. The apartment was pretty big and comfortable, and with everything we need for the 1-week stay. The views from both balconies are amazing!

The Amlach itself is a very cozy, silent, and beautiful village in the valley between mountains. There is a small shop with all the main things we need and a few nice restaurants. And the city of Lienz is in only a few minutes by car. A lot of hikes and bicycle routes can be started from Amlach!

The view from the apartment, the peace and quiet and easy access to the skiing slopes- everything was worth the climbing up the hill. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully equipped, apartman was clean an spacious.
