Tanja and her team at Ferienhof Hinterstrasser were very welcoming especially after there was a booking.com error that deleted our reservation. They solved it all before our arrival.
The breakfasts were exceptional! Eggs from the farm's chickens were cooked to order. Fresh milk from the farm's cows as well as homemade yogurt and butter were delicious.
Tanja baked gluten-free bread for our friends and tinkered with the recipe each day until it was as good as the non-GF bread.
Location was great for exploring hiking trails as well as Lake Mondsee. We arrived on public transportation and easily walked to / from the town center.

Really beautiful and quiet locaton, lovely traditional Austrian chalet style farmhouse with generous sized rooms and great views. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. Irene was very attentive and everywhere was exceptionally clean and tidy.
Great rural and peaceful location with amazing views across to Schafberg. I regularly saw deer in the fields and got to within 5m on one occassion. Lots of hiking on the doorstep. The village of Fuschl am See is a 15 minute walk away.
