We loved everything about this property and the hosts. Anita met us on arrival to introduce us to the apartment and all the facilities and nearby attractions. Anita was around throughout our visit as its a working farm, and regularly checked if all was ok, allowed us to watch the cow milking, and arranged fresh milk (from the cows) and local bakery deliveries each morning. Anita came to see us off at the end of our visit, and kept in touch on WhatsApp to check we got home ok, a lovely lady.
The facilities are amazing, the apartment very modern, with sauna and a pool we used most days (only open a few months in the year I understand). The farmhouse location is stunning, up a 2 mile driveway in the hills, and a short drive to nearby Abtenau with supermarkets, pedestrian areas, shops and restaurants.
We stayed 4 nights and used the farmhouse as a base to toboggan down mountains, traveling over the mountains to swim in the natural lake Wolfgangsee, sound of music tour from Salzburg, visiting Halstatt and the salt mines, etc etc..... We will visit again at some point, likely for a full week as there is so much to do here.
Situated in the quiet countryside, Biohof Haus WIeser offers direct access to Radochsberg Cross-Country Ski Trail and is 7 km from Dachstein-West Ski Resort.

Hans and Hubert were great hosts. The accomodation was very clean and tidy with an amazing view. We booked the 1-room apartment with private bathroom. It was really nice and comfortable. Slight recommendation: a coat hanger would be nice, otherwise everything is perfect.
This easily accessible organic farm in a central location in the Ski amadé ski area offers ideal conditions for a traditional farm holiday combined with modern comfort.

The Krahlehenhof is located in the idyllic village of Filzmoos in the Ski amadé region, about 2 km away from the centre and 400 metres from the nearest ski lift. WiFi is free in all areas.

We felt really comfortable and loved this place. Really impressive how well maintained was, kitchen newly renovated as in the pictures, equipped with all necessary dishes (which by the way was the cutest ones - authentic and vintage Austrian ceramics - definitely suited the apartment and location perfectly).
The hosts were loveliest people. We felt very welcome and taken care of. :)
The location is very great, beautiful views (also from balcony view is magnificent), walking trails and restaurants nearby, grocery store also not too far away (especially by car).
Hosts said to us to park in front of the main entrance, which was extra convenient when carrying our luggage.
Communication with the host was very good and had all the instructions and info about local trails prior to our arrival. At the arrival, the host also provided us with a local trail map and visitor card, which was super great for exploring around.
We travelled with our two dogs who were very welcomed here - everyone there loves dogs. :) And our dogs also felt very comfortable here. :)

For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Wonderful location with views of the town square. Beautiful room, designed with attention to every detail. Easy to use sauna.
We also liked the tastefully-designed common area which offered a coffee maker, water heater, plates, cups and dining utensils.
Creaky floorboards added a rustic vibe.

Great parking place. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings, cross-country skiing and sledging possibility in walking distance. You have some "Bauernhofs" with animals nearby, which is great.
Anita was an amazing host, greeted us warmly when we arrived. She was very helpful throughout the stay and allowed us to experience some of the farm life from the animals to getting fresh milk in the morning.
The property has amazing views of the local mountains and was well.equipped for our family inside. Our kids loved the farm animals and the playground/trampoline/pool.
This apartment is in a rural location with stunning balcony views over the fields out to the mountains. There is a lovely walk along the stream through forest to Abtenau itself. Abentau is a pretty village with plenty of restaurants and shops.
Barbara is a great host. Even though we do not speak German and she does not speak English we managed to communicate effectively.
This place is like heaven! Very friendly hostess Anneliese, when we called we will be late (thought we will come around 17:00 but we arrived after 21:00) it wasn't any problem. She just left the keys for us and we dealt with everything in the morning. Absolutely unrivaled breakfast from homemade ingredients. A little farm included accommodation, a little swimming pool for children, beautiful scenery.... this place has just everything. Thank you very much Anneliese for your kindness! Everything, I could live here! Beautiful secluded apartment right in a beautiful rural setting , with horses and kittens and so quiet. Lovely facilities and views stunning. Gerhard and Andrea were so welcoming and helpful. Good walks and cycles from door but also local guide in town good.
Very nice and well-equipped accommodation. Good location for trips and wonderful views from the balcony. Very suitable for children who want to observe animals on the farm.
The pension is run by a family which is very friendly. We could buy fresh farmers eggs and milk. Extraordinary view, especially in the morning. My kid got to go and see some baby kittens and cows. The room was clean. We booked the studio and also had a small kitchen, equipped with all necessary things, which was great because we could eat breakfast and enjoy the view.
