This was our 1st stop in Capetown- and we could not have been happier. The hosts were kind and educated about the area. The artwork was amazing! The breakfast delicious. Fantastic place in Victorian house, with nice wooden floors. Great room with a perfect bathroom adjacent. The bed was nice and lot of place for our clothes. The breakfast was very good with eggs and fresh croissants, served by the friendly host.

We had an amazing stay at acorn house - the perfect start for our family holiday. We were travelling with two children aged 2 and 5. They had all the needed equipment, and the friendly staff made sure to accommodate us by the pool with toys, towels and even cookies for the kids etc when we arrived a few hours before check-in after our long haul flight. The room was spacious, stylish and very clean, and the breakfast is lovely. The area is beautiful and relaxed with a nice cafe just on the corner of the street. Maaike provided us with various good recommendations for the rest of our destinations as well, which has been great. We highly recommend staying at acorn house to experience this lovely place :)

The property is very well located in the Centre of town, a 10 min walk from the restaurants and bars of Kloof Street and a 12 min drive to the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. The rooms are a great size and very clean, and come at a very reasonable price. By far the greatest attraction of staying in Cactusberry are Dorian and Kieran - absolute top lads who really know their stuff when it comes to Cape Town recs and will make sure you get the best of the city. The breakfasts are also excellent!
