Location - I was pretty much frustrated with all the reviews saying there is nothing around. In fact, location was lovely for us. Yes, no bar streets like in the city center and lovely ladies inviting for massage. But you get local prices, good quality and feeling local in HCMC, and no feeling as you get special touristic prices. Fiirst, there is a good public transportation available, 15-20 minutes by bus or car to Saigon mall or Palace of Independence, bikes are even faster. There are MANY good places to eat around, from Korean BBQ to nice Vietnamese dishes with really nice prices, nice spa nearby. Third, there is also a market place nearby KunKin, where you can buy what locals buy. In general, for sure, there are some disadvantages, but measuring price quality ratio, the place we have stayed was good.

Maison De Camille is located in Ho Chi Minh City. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service, along with free WiFi. The place is indeed boutique-ish, with a calm music and cozy, refined design across the building. The room is spacious and well-maintained. There’s even a microwave and a kitchen sink in the room, very convenient. The bathroom is comfortable and pleasant to use. The breakfast is wonderful, highly recommend! Florence, a receptionist, was exceptionally kind and very pleasant to communicate with. Thank her very much for her advice on the fireworks show in the city centre and where to watch it!
