Located directly across from the beach, this Santa Barbara hotel offers a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi. The Zoological Gardens are a short walk away. We were passing through, stayed for one night and were satisfied. And I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The maids are wonderful. The hotel is also nice, and what a beautiful location.

It looks like an old-school motel but the interiors are really fresh and lovely. Wonderful pool in the center, and perfectly located blocks from my conference. easy access to beach. Having the pool in the middle made it feel like everyone had a "view".

The hotel was in a good location - just a short walk to the seafront and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is really quite quirky - with some lovely decoration and a funky feel. Liked the shared space downstairs in reception where there was an honesty bar and where a simple breakfast was served (tea, coffee, juice, some fruit, bagels and pastries). We hadnt expected this so was a nice extra. There was also a big fridge and freezer where guests could keep own items as there was nothing in the room for this. There was a really nice outside area with comfy seating, a clean pool, table tennis table. The room itself was comfy and my son (12) loved sleeping in the murphy bed which pulled down over the main double bed. Had a really nice welcome and the offer of a complimentary drink on arrival from a very lovely member of staff/owner (Derek?)
