Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Stanyan Park Hotel offers Victorian-style rooms with free WiFi. It serves a daily expanded continental breakfast. Golden Gate Park is steps away. Incredible stay at this hotel- better than I could have imagined. The rooms were clean, everyone was so friendly and this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Wine in the evening with cheese and little tit bits was also an incredible touch, a huge thank you to all of the staff for making my stay so memorable.

While the decor is very charming, full of interesting antique furniture, the place is also very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive; they were quick to bring us extra towels and did everything to make sure we were happy. The location was excellent, close to shops on Haight and the Golden Gate and Buena Vista parks. The shared kitchen was terrific; well stocked with tea and spices and full of light, with plenty of space to cook and eat. We loved it!
