Hotel seemed very new and beautifully decorated. Perfect location! We were able to walk to all the places we planned to visit on our short stay in OC.

A few years ago I discovered the restaurant open until 8 p.m. In the past, they were only open for breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed the extra hours open.

The hotel was very close to the beach and the beach is perfect as it is away from the crowds. The staff was amazing as well. Allowed us early check in at 9:30am (instead of 4pm). Even gave us late check out till 1pm. Breakfast was good with limited options. Waffles, breakfast burgers, cereals, toast, coffee and juices only. Would have loved some bacon and sausages. .
