Good location, room was decent size and generally clean, and bed was comfortable. Reception area was welcoming, and staff reasonably polite. We asked for a kettle at reception, and it was delivered to our room promptly.

1- The Social vibe is what you want as a social traveler and networker.
2- Also decent for kids so you have somewhere to go after a day out (restaurant downstairs, ping pong, pool, greta rooftop view, etc).
3- STAFF. No query too small (printing!), no query too big ("what's the history of the building, Good man?"), can I have an ironing board?
4- Location to the UN is perfect, also for strolling around, Grand Central and all transport.
5- Queen size room is an excellent size for a solo traveller - bathroom is oddly large with great counter space too.
6- Low room floor = no need to wait for elevator.

Very expensive for basic things, to many Spanish speaking people trying to con and beg money out of me. I did stay on Broadway and really enjoyed The Great Gatsby show. The Brooklyn Diner was way to cramped and rude table service.

I have so many examples but main thing about NY is the people who we find friendly, warm and generous. To quickly tell you a story I left my wallet in a cab. We had no idea of cab number etc. He dropped us off at Lincoln center. We traveled back to SoHo where we were staying. This amazing cab driver spend 2 HOURS trying to find me and due to room key he return the wallet to me . Amazing man of honor.

So much to do and see.
So much to do and see. An excellent city in which you find a little bit of everything. The 9/11 museum and the American Museum of Natural History are a great visit. However if you are short on time the Natural History Museum needs a lot of hours so plan you visit wisely that it does not chew up too much valuable time. The hop on-hop off bus is a great way to get you bearings.

Always have a great time in NYC and discover something new with each visit. High Line is fun to walk. The Edge and the restaurant Peak were fantastic. First time to Madison Square Garden and had so much fun at the Sebastian Maniscalco performance. Love the theater district and highly recommend Hell's Kitchen the musical. The New York Public library is stunning - allow a few hours to wander this gem. Recommend signing up to get tickets to one of the TV show tapings - very interesting process and fun experience. And of course, must have Joe's pizza and Katz' pastrami sandwich.

The center of it all!!
The center of it all!!
Great place to visit and be apart of.
Central Park is a beautiful oasis.
The people watching is epic. You see the entire world on display from the good to the bad.
Nothing like a NYC attitude, get the straight story from native New Yorkers on what it’s like to live here - very interesting.
Midtown of Manhattan, center of New York so very easy to get to either downtown (one world trade building, Wall Street, china town) or uptown (Empire State building, Times Square, Central Park). And of course subways or restaurants are at every corner.
Very nice and friendly staff.
The street is full of flowers and plants business so it is very clean and fresh. It is really the highlight of this hotel.
Parking for free (not at the same street) but the hotel will cover it.
Quiet compare with the other surrounding streets.
Good value for money for New York. Easy direct 4 stop subway to Times Square. We were a family of 5 and had a family room with 3 beds. Very compact with little luggage space but comfortable, very clean & modern, great shower, delicious coffee in the mornings and friendly staff. Shopping on Broadway a short walk away and loads of food options surrounding the hotel. Excellent bagels at a convenience store nearby which we enjoyed for a cheap & easy breakfast. We liked being away from the chaos of Times Square.
Location is excellent, right in midtown manhattan, easy access to all the sights and areas of NYC. The room is small, but so are all the rooms in NYC really, the bed is huge and very comfortable and that is all you need when visiting this city. We didn't have any issues with space. Having travelled in various areas of the world and stayed in some luxurious accommodation, this place is perfectly acceptable for new york. Safe, comfortable, warm, convenient, cheap.
AMAZING LOCATION!! Everyone says stay near time square but Times square is gross and way over priced! This was cheaper and so central to everything. All the staff were lovely as well. A previous hotel had double charged me and these guys were super helpful in getting my money back
Staff was very friendly. The hotel is located close to Times Square and Madison Square Garden and is great if you want to explore Manhattan. The Gym is also very well equipped! We really enjoyed the stay.
