This Beaux-Arts hotel with a French Renaissance design has a restaurant/bar and enjoys a central Manhattan location. Everything was great. The upgrade was phenomenal and late checkout was exactly what we needed.

This Manhattan hotel is just a 4-minute walk from the famous Empire State Building. Classically furnished rooms offer WiFi and a flat-screen TV. I stayed in room 906 on the 9th floor and got a room at the back with a view of roofing equipment (as always), but I must say I was very impressed with this hotel. From check-in, the gentlemen was so friendly and even made a joke, which lighened my droopy jet-lagged mood. Surprisingly, the security deposit was minimal compared to the previous hotels I've stayed. For safety, there are security stationed in the lobby area. The hallways are very well lit and clean, and the room was very big (compared to previous hotels where I stayed), it was beautiful, clean, well lit, and had all the amenities as listed in the hotel ad. There is also a small gym in the basement, which I got to use once. Most of the staff had a great attitude toward guests. There was an African American young man (may be a security) who held an umbrella over me and my friend's head and individually walked us to our Lyft waiting outside in the pouring rain. We were so grateful. Thank you, sir. The housekeeping staff did a superb job with the daily cleaning, organizing, and restocking the room with toiletries and coffee packages, and although I didn't have much cash to leave them a tip, they kept on cleaning the room faithfully and beautifully every day. The AC in the room stopped working by the 3rd day into my stay, so the room became very hot. However, I never reported it until the day before I checked out, so it was my fault for enduring the prolonged discomfort, because when I eventually reported it, it was sorted in less than 5 minutes.

Located between Broadway and 5th Avenue, Life Hotel is surrounded with dining options. Macy’s Herald Square is 483 metres from the property while the Empire State Building is 322 metres away. Дуже привітний персонал. У нас затримали рейс і ми приїхали на 8 годин пізніше, аніж планувалось . Та все ж нас зустріли дуже тепло, хоч і посеред ночі, надали всю необхідну інформацію та ще й допомогли - запропонували зручніший номер, аніж ми бронювали спочатку ))) В номері було дуже чисто, розташування просто шикарне.

Great location and the staff are just amazing. The quality of the room for NYC prices was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will use this hotel again when I next travel there.

Originally known as the Alcazar Hotel, this charming 19th-century historic landmark has been transformed into the beloved Hotel Stanford New York since 1986. Excellent service at the entrance, from the doorman to the receptionist. Excellent decor hotel, very clean and very comfortable. We got an extra apartment and we are very satisfied. The street is right in the center of events, but still quiet for a night's rest. The beds are comfortable, fantastic. Small complaint about the breakfast, but ok if you consider that it is just the start for a tour through NY and Manhattan.
