This New Orleans property consists of 2 historic mansions that are across the street from each other and within a 15-minute walk of the French Quarter. Hotel has a cozy atmosphere. It is an old building but there was nothing wrong. Everything that is supposed to was working. Pool was nice and looked clean.

THE most divine host who I had the most lovely chats with. Felt very much at home and loved the beautiful surroundings. The pool also looked divine (sadly it was pouring with rain while I was there so I didn't swim but it was gorgeous). Highly recommend for a more boutique stay away from hotels!

Gracious, accommodating, and a fountain of knowledge about the city and its music/food/entertainment scenes, Todd was undoubtedly the best guide and host I have ever experienced traveling. The Inn itself is an immensely comfortable and friendly establishment that doubles as a fascinating museum. Most importantly, the Inn functions within its community and not apart from it. Easy access to all New Orleans has to offer. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

It's a different experience compared to a hotel. We got to talk to the owner and get recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants for instance. I love chatting with the people of the place to find out more about the history of the city and the way of life of its inhabitants. The people working at the Degas House are all very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious, too, with good, strong coffee and fresh fruit. Having our little Southern porch was amazing. The area is so beautiful. And we even had a parking space right in front of the house.
