This historic colonial American bed and breakfast is located just 4.4 km from the New Orleans French Quarter district. It features a full breakfast and access to the streetcar line. We liked everything. Brent, our host, was very friendly and helpful, gave us good advice on what to do and how to do it. The breakfasts were great and varied, absolutely no complaints.

The bed was super huge and comfortable. The hallways were lit by motion activation. The room was huge. Even had Netflix. The street car stop is literally right in front of the house. You can buy a pass on the LePass app. The house is very quiet too.

We took the trolley car, 3 blocks from the property, to get to and from the French Quarter. With the number of bedrooms and beds no one has to sleep on a sofa bed. The backyard and deck were amazing!!

The location was great for all that we needed and wanted to do. We loved that we only had to walk out the garage to get to the pool area and it was very relaxing in that area also. Inside the house was very spacious and comfortable for all parties.

Featuring an outdoor pool and deck, India House Hostel offers shared accommodations in the Mid-City district of New Orleans along the Canal St. Streetcar Line. The place is a great stay in New Orleans and at a good price. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and the facilities were clean. Although I didn't use the pool, it looked very nice! Commuting was easy as the streetcar stop was a two minute walk and there are plenty of buses running on that main street as well.
