If you think you can live without the services of a large hotel staff and don't mind staying in a not so fancy neighborhood, Creole House is your place. Nice old building, short walk to St. Charles streetcar line, walking distance from French Quarter. Everything is clean and working. You can make your own breakfast out of your own fridge, make your coffee or tea (complimentary). The kitchen and dining table might be too small in case of full house, provided everybody wakes up at the same time, which is unlikely, because the hotel is small and quiet. The honest kindness of Melissa would be worth of a separate review. In short, she wants you to feel like home and for us it worked. Tip: Take the streetcar to Audubon Park and see hundreds of whistling duck (in winter).

This property so so great! Loved the pool and jacuzzi and the split levels for lots of guests. It is in walking distance to the Ponchartrain hotel which has an amazing roof top bar., and a stop to catch the trolley down to the the French quarter. The house has a great kitchen, great rooftop deck, a cool blue tooth sound system - and is very safe with multiple locking gates. They also have a Keurig with coffee. It’s very groovy inside. Great for groups. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!!! There are a lot of stairs - which is good for someone for mobility issues to know. The management was really responsive if we needed something and great to work with!

The location was close enough to attractions for easy travel yet away from late night noise so you could rest comfortably.

I loved how central the location is everything was less than 10 mins away. The decor was truly exceptional. Spencer was quick to respond to anything I needed. I also appreciated the detailed instructions. The amenities were top tier. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay!
