Boasting a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, Shinola Hotel is situated in the centre of Detroit, 1.7 km from TCF Center. The design of the hotel is unbelievably posh yet welcoming. As a designer for similar hospitality rivals, I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and experience. Definitely will stay again the next time I am in Detroit.

This Detroit hotel is located in the Greektown District, next to the Greektown Casino. The all-suite hotel offers free WiFi, free area shuttle service and an on-site restaurant & bar. We loved how friendly and efficient the staff were. The design of the hotel was beautiful. The location was perfect. The beds were comfy.

Set in Detroit, less than 1 km from TCF Center, Cambria Hotel Detroit Downtown offers accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. The location was great, in downtown area but out of the main traffic. Decor was excellent and the staff was very helpful.

Featuring a bar, The Siren Hotel, an Ash Hotel is set in Detroit. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The decor was great, the staff were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Set in Detroit, Michigan, 400 metres from The Fillmore Detroit, The Inn at 97 Winder features a sun terrace and views of the city. Free WiFi is available and private parking is available on site. The staff were very friendly and helpful - the location was great and the room was very nice. The breakfast was very good.

Attractively located in the centre of Detroit, Detroit Foundation Hotel features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. We did not stay for breakfast. We left very early for an appointment and the manager eagerly went to get us some freshly made coffee to go. The restaurant had a nice bar and we we able to go for drinks the evening that we checked in and we enjoyed their cocktail menu.

Located in the David Whitney building in downtown Detroit, this hotel features a bar and lounge for guests to relax, a fitness center and free high speed WiFi. Staying at the hotel is not just functional or practical - it becomes part of the experience of being on holiday in Detroit. It is the kind of builing you'd want to visit or wander around in when exploring the city, so being able to stay there overnight as part of a city trip is just fantastic. And as a hotel it is top notch. The corner room I had was massive, with high ceilings, and very luxurious. Given that still larger rooms are available., I suspect it would be a great hotel for a family stay. The room was also very quiet - you see the city but do not hear it at all. Check in and check out were a breeze. It is centrally located and close to public transport, so perfect as a base to explore the city.

This downtown Detroit hotel offers on-site dining and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Just a 7-minute walk from MGM Grand Detroit Casino, the hotel provides free WiFi in every room. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and warm and comforting. The room blew me away on how nice it was. Everything was great and very convenient. Would definitely choose to come back here for a future trip.
