With machine age and industrial design influences, Hotel 1868 offers modern amenities in the Porter Square district of Cambridge. Complimentary WiFi is provided. Approachable staff, great location, very clean. Housekeeping was available promptly on request, water and coffee available just outside the gym in the basement. The area was comfortable to walk around as two female travellers with a lot of great food nearby. The subway is just across so it's really convenient. Would gladly recommend.

Lovely building, beautifully furnished, quiet. Private, gracious shared patio. Self-serve processes all very efficient and effective. This place is a treasure, we'll be back. There was a fantastic happy hour once (on the day we arrived); great breakfast another morning, but only once No schedule was provided for these events so we couldn't enjoy them very much when they suddenly/unexpectedly occurred... we began hoping/pseudo-planning for another chance but it never happened. The lack of communication about this was unnecessary and not a positive.
