The girls working at reception were friendly, helpful and answered any questions I had. This would be the reason for me returning here to stay again. The hotel diner also had friendly and cheerful staff which made me go to eat there every day.

Zhayvir asub Kiievis, 8,9 km kaugusel Kiievi raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Zhayvir is a budget hotel so it would be easy to pick on aspects that were not so good but, in truth, Zhayvir is perfect for the single traveller who is going to spend most of the day out travelling the sights. During my 18 days in Kyiv I intended to spread myself around three different hotels, in different areas. But, Zhayvir was perfect and the Kyiv Metro is also so good, it doesn't really matter where you are based. So I stayed. Initially, I was on the top floor but the stairs played havoc on my ageing knees so, at the end of the first week a room on the first floor became available - and I moved in there. The lower rooms are slightly more expensive and my new room didn't have a fridge. But beyond the fridge the two rooms were identical. When I was on the first floor I used the communal fridge by reception. Each en-suite room has a TV (which I never used), a kettle (which I used every day), a good sized desk, a wardrobe and a good heater. And the windows opened (so make sure the kids don't mess with them!) - but I liked the fact I could get some fresh air in each day. The beds were comfortable and I was always warm enough (I was there Nov/Dec). There's also a small table and adequate plug sockets. There is a security guard at the main door, you can come in an out anytime. The front desk staff were all lovely even though only little English was spoken (but this was to be expected). The hotel is approx 9 mins walk from Sviatoshyn Metro station, about 5 mins walk from an excellent (normal) pub (drink the Sviatoshyn beer - it's lovely!) - I can't tell you the name but I'll attach a photo of their card, even closer to 3 decent supermarkets (where I bought 75 percent of all my food) and close to 2 kebab stalls (I'd have one most nights). There is also a taxi point en-route to the underpass to get to the pub! There is also a very good lady seamstress between the Novus supermarket and the Sviatoshyn station.

Inn on Zhytomyrska asub Kiievis, 11 km kaugusel Kiievi raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on terrass, privaatne parkla, restoran ja baar. Not far from the metro station. Not expensive.

Neljatärnihotell asub Svyatoshynskyi piirkonnas ning on vaid 20-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel Kiievi ajaloolisest kesklinnast. Very helpful and friendly staff, big rooms for small prices. The restaurant is good too. Next time I'll have to try the sauna.

Hotell Nivki asub ainult 400 meetri kaugusel Kiievi messikeskusest ja pakub soodsat tasuta WiFi-ühendusega majutust. Hoone juures on tasuta avalikud parkimiskohad. Vastuvõtt on avatud ööpäev läbi. Well outside city center but very close to basic services and shops. Clean and comfortable with a "no frills" kind of vibe. Adjacent restaurant very friendly, tasty and affordably priced.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, terrassi ja restoraniga hotell Kiev Lomakin asub Kyevis, 9 km kaugusel Püha Cyrili kloostrist. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant, they have a wonderful German Shepherd who also emulates their friendliness! 😁 The Hotel is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in within Ukraine so far. Highly recommend. 👍 AC, Double bed, daily cleaning, there’s also a sauna here? Supermarket and shopping centre 20 minute walk away.

See tasuta WiFi-ühendusega hotell asub järve ääres rohelises ümbruskonnas, Zhitomirska metroojaamast 2-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Hotellil on terrassiga restoran. Awesome quality of the air, due to tons of trees around, even it has a highway not far away. Good accomodation, especially for that price and good food at the restaurant.
