Situated in Tainan, 600 metres from Tainan Confucius Temple, U.I.J Hotel & Hostel features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I really loved the vibe at this hotel - from the amazing scent when you walk in, to the album covers behind the front desk and the cool cafe in the reception. When I got to my room, i was blown away. Very spacious, great view over the Art museum, a huge bed, Japanese toilets, fabulous shower, and Aesop amenities! In fact, it was hard to leave! the breakfast was great - i like the way they do it by ordering alacarte rather than a buffet as it feels like there is less food waste and the food is fresher and more hygienic. I wish I had selected the room with the record players but then I might not have gone out to enjoy Tainan's nightlife and stayed in enjoying my room all night!
