Private rooms in authentic apartment in Old town of Tunis, near Medina biedt uitzicht op de stad en gratis WiFi. This is the former apartment of a French officer in a historical building with beautiful original 1903 tile floors, high ceilings, and carved stone fireplace. The owners have decorated with high quality furnishings so that the place feels very classy. We were in Room 1 with a private bathroom. Rooms 2-4 shared a bathroom. We all shared the kitchen and living room spaces. Taieb or Ines came by every day to clean rooms or visit with guests. They left fruits and cakes for guests to share, and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, dishes, pots, microwave, electric oven and basic foods (oil, pasta, rice, eggs, spices). We could walk to the Medina and the municipal market easily. Has washing machine; line dry clothes on the balcony. Overall a delightful experience of Tunisian hospitality!

Tunis medina ligt in de wijk Bab Bhar in Tunis, op 16 km van Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, minder dan 1 km van Dar Ben Abdallah Museum en 8 minuten lopen van Dar Bach Hamba. Nice and spaceious apartment right next to the French embassy and the Medina of Tunis. The host replied quicly to any questions and the lady meeting us at the apartment was realy friendly. There was also a convenient key-box outside of the apartment, so we did not have to arrive at a specific time.

Location very close to centre and Medina, big rooms, clean and bathroom too clean. Good value for money.
