El Du Talay es un pequeño hotel de gestión familiar con 21 acogedoras habitaciones gestionadas por tailandeses y alemanes. Hace 4 años fue totalmente renovado. We rented the room with the jaccuzi and it was phenomenal! Spacious living room large bathroom with sea view, comfy bed, Netflix on TV. Large private terrace. The breakfast was okay, maybe a little bit bland after a while. The staff was nice, the aircon worked great. Good location to reach both sides of the island. We also rented the scooter (125cc) from them and it worked great. The beach in front of the hotel is not usable 24/7, at high tide it's simply underwater. The area around the hotel offers many restaurants, the small night market next to it is also nice.

The location is fantastic. Hotel is just 10 meters away from the water in high tide. They have a super clean pool. Good tasting food and very attentive waiters on their Mac restaurant. Across the hotel is 7/11, several local restaurants available, Atm and money changers are in the vicinity. They have laundry service available for an affordable and reasonable price. The receptions became my son’s best friend. They are so friendly and very accommodating and helpful. 10/10 For sure we will go back to Mac Resort. 100% highly recommend.
