If you like to be away from mass tourism and close to nature and an authentic fishing village, to do all kinds of activities, then this is a little heaven. I recommend taking a) a kayak to the two (bigger) islands in the bay. The second has a beautiful sandy beach where you can snorkel. But if you plan to circumnavigate the furthest island, better check wind and wave conditions b) kayak in the khlongs and mangroves c) walk in the mangroves d) bike/hike to the waterfall e) to the end of the road and Buddha viewpoint f) hike to the lookout on the mountain g) bike to Salak Kok..

Located on the east coast of Koh Chang Island, Island View Resort and SPA is just a 1-minute walk from Salakphet Bay. It boasts an outdoor pool with sundeck overlooking the sea and a tour desk. Such a beautiful place with stunning views from the room. This place truly is paradise. We reserved the room just for a night but ending up staying a week. Day trip to other islands are a must. Staff are so friendly, Kanya was always so helpful to us, she's the sweetest staff we've met so far. The resort gave us an upgrade to a really nice room. It's next to the swimming pool, with stunning views. Definitely won't be our last time to this place.

Salakphet Resort is located along Salak Phet Bay (Ao Salak Phet) in Southern Koh Chang. Offering a unique fisherman village experience, the resort has free Wi-Fi and beautiful sea views. We stayed in Villa 1, which was just so lovely and peaceful. The view is amazing, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom beautiful and everything is very peaceful. The hotel has giant floaties that you can moor in front of the villa and put a floating cushion on. I spent the afternoon being rocked by the waves and reading my book. Not one for families with young children as there is nothing to prevent them from falling into the water. Ideal for everyone else, so long as you are looking for peace and not parties. I would stay here again and have recommended to friends.

The place is a beautiful and senic place with fantastic owners mother and daughter. The food is delious and cheap 1000 percent worth a try!!! I highly recomend this place for people who like nature and to be emersed in it we brought our 2 dogs and it was fantastic for them both as well as us lol. Room was great wifi was good. Fantastic experince. Will deffinetly come back again soon!!!

The location was great and on the water. Bungalow was clean and felt like glamping. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Kayak rentals at the resort.

Located a 10-minute drive to Trat mangrove forest, Parama Koh Chang offers free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting an outdoor pool, the hotel offers free private parking on site. The entire staff was exceptional! Absolutely, the best location on Koh Chang. I loved staying at Parama One and will again.
