Situated in Sai Mai district, The Kong provides free WiFi. All rooms feature a shared bathroom and cable TV. Mr Kong was such a friendly and engaging host who truly went out of his way to help us in every way. He is a true lover of travel and new experiences, and we loved exchanging stories on the night of our arrival. He has hearing issues and is a great lip reader, and we used lots of Google to share the subtleties and specifics of our stories! We also had breakfast together one of the days. Room security is great as well. It was such a pleasure for us to stay here.

Clean and comfortable accommodation with a warm and friendly family atmosphere. Quiet and convenient location in the back streets of Sai Mai. The host of the apartments was incredibly welcoming, introducing me to many locals and guests, creating a down to earth community vibe. She has a great sense of humour and is fluent in Thai and English, this was very helpful, I learned the names of all the local dogs! There is a Thai restaurant below the apartments with friendly hosts (including an African grey parrot!) and delicious food. 7-Eleven is a stone’s throw away. Majestic dogs lay outside the store and enjoy the breeze from the A/C. Sai Yud BTS, Big C shopping centre, gym and more restaurants are all a short walk or bike ride away. Definitely visit Ab Saab karaoke restaurant, you will have “the time of your liiiiifeee!”
