Good transport links to Funchal. The room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for everything you would need. Bed was king size and exceptionally comfortable.

The accommodation is spacious, quiet, and adequately equipped (including a washing machine and a dryer). The weekly bus pass (22 euros) is worth it if you plan to stay on the island without renting a car like us. The bus stop is right next to the house, it takes about 20 min to get to the center. The ride itself is a real treat. The house is located high above the town, so it is cooler there, which can be a problem for some in winter, as there is no standard heating in the house - only 2 direct heaters. On the other hand, in summer this is certainly desirable. Communication with the owner was above standard from the start, she responds without delay and tries to make your stay as good as possible. This house is really worth it. We would be happy to return if we visit Madeira again.
