The complimentary breakfast was really very nice. We came from the Epic Sana so we had been a bit spoiled (their breakfast was really excellent)- Gale was a smaller version and they had an omelet and crepe maker which was nice. The check in at Gale was absolutely 💯- Louisa was very attentive and informative. We were delighted to come to our room and find some bubbly and chocolate strawberries after telling her we were celebrating something special. This is a very quiet resort and great for couples.

It is very well equipped and very clean. Nuno, the owner, had great communication with us. The pool and grounds are very well managed. There are some beautiful restaurants within walking distance. The apolonia supermarket is just a short walk away and has a great selection of food, wine, fresh bakery, etc. It is very easy to get an Uber if you want to go a bit further, which is very reasonable.

Casa Mimao er staðsett í Albufeira, 400 metra frá Balbina-ströndinni og 600 metra frá Gale East-ströndinni og býður upp á loftkælingu. The house was in the most beautiful and quiet setting just above the beach. So relaxing sitting on the patio watching the waves come in, then going down to the beach and exploring all the rock pools. The beds were very comfortable and the shower super powerful with plenty of hot water. Kitchen facilities were basic, but included everything we needed to self cater. I could have stayed here forever.

Location was perfect - easy walking distance to Lourenco beach (our favourite) and the main Gale beach, and close to Apolonia supermarket, which says it has everything (and I'm not going to argue with that!). We especially liked the heated pool during the day and the big smart TV in the evenings.

Palmeira Galé Apartment er staðsett í Albufeira, 4 km frá smábátahöfninni. Boðið er upp á bar, garð og verönd. Everything was just great. The apartment was even more beautiful than on the pictures and there was everything in it, including washing supplies, washing machine and dishwasher tablets and food and drink for us. There was even a baby cot and a baby chair, including an extra baby towel. Literally nothing was missing. We has a lovely stay. The complex is nice, you can use the swimming pool which we had to ourselves. It's a short walk to a lovely beach and a short drive to most of the other beautiful beaches around. It's definitely worth renting a car and seeing the rest of Algarve - the apartment was "in the middle" so it was not far to drive to Tavira or to Sagres. It was a very convenient location. The supermarket is just around the corner, you can buy everything there every day of the week. We could not be more happy, would definitely like to come back :)

Cristina was really nice and helpful. Being on the 4th floor, the sea view was amazing, and the balcony overlooked the pool area too, Speaking of the pool area, we were there for 2 weeks in August, and it was never too busy. Easy walk to several beaches and really well-equipped supermarkets on hand. Very family-friendly restaurants and only 15 minutes max into Albufeira by Uber. We would love to return.
