NB: if you are not ready for a bumpy ride in a tricycle through the jungle in order to get to the accommodation don’t go here. But if you are up for an adventure and eventually ready to push the tuktuk through mud (if is has been rainy) this accommodation is highly recommendable for a 2-5 nights stay in Port Barton! We loved it!

The property was adorable and clean and just great! The staff were awesome! They helped my friend and I get into a last minute tour! Even more the next morning my friend was sick they got her a refund and checked on her regularly to make sure that she was okay while providing her with food for her stomach! We felt so taken care of there and I would go back in a heartbeat! Also it was a very easy walk to the beach, restaurants and the transportation center!!

I had a fantastic stay at la Palapa. Staff were super friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated and breakfast was very tasty. The tables / reading area in front of the rooms was a great place to hang out.
