Dunedin Leisure Lodge - Distinction is a 4-star hotel set in landscaped gardens overlooking Dunedin’s Botanic Gardens. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the city centre. Lovely room. Staff were really nice. Good breakfast. Location was great, near to city. Plenty of parking space.

Beechwood Motel offers self-catering accommodation with free onsite parking, only 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Dunedin. The owners are really lovely and gave good suggestions not only for in town/on the peninsula, but for my onward travel. The room is a bit small, but there is so much functionality packed in without anything feeling cramped, with a fully functional kitchenette, desk area, and bathroom. The mural is a fun plus.

Location is the best, Room is spacious 3 beds 1 double 2 single, dog friendly we have our 2 dogs with us. Very clean and everything is there that you need. Staff are very friendly and the owner was very nice.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from the Otago University, Alhambra Oaks offers accommodation with 50+ satellite channels and free unlimited Wi-Fi and free on site parking. The lady at the reception is lovely. She helped us carry our luggages and agreed to keep them while we went to explore Dunedin. She was patient and gave us a room downstairs when she saw that we arrived with a lot of luggages. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was cleaned after the first night. Not many accommodation does that. The bed was comfortable and warm with layers of blankets. We enjoy the facilities and services provided.
