Set in Christchurch, 1.2 km from Cashel Street Mall, Colombo Lodge Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, free parking, price very fair and staff very nice. I don't have any complaints. Great place to stay.

We had a car so it was very easy to get downtown.Walkable if you're keen(1.2km) So much history and many things to do in Christchurch. I wish we had more than 2 days. A short drive to fantastic hikes (we did Mt Pleasant). Botanic Gardens are well worth a look. The apartment is at the back of a law office in a beautifully restored older home. Great open plan kitchen, dining, living space. Fantastic bathroom with tub and shower. Very comfy king bed. Laundry, washer, sink, drying rack and iron. Lovely deck and back garden. Quiet and private. Would definitely recommend.
