Only 200 metres walk to the cinema, restaurants, bars and shops at Westfield Riccarton. We started our trip from this property and returned to stay when we were due to head home. Super clean, great space and loves the strong shower. The owner is very helpful too.

FYFFE on Riccarton Motor Lodge is 500 metres from Canterbury University and a 10-minute drive from Christchurch Airport. The hotel was within walking distance of many shops and resturants. While we arrived several hours early the owner was happy to get us into our room before the usual check-in. We were waiting for a wine tour to pick us up and the owner checked on us as we waited outside, to make sure we were doing good, very kind! The room was very spacious clean and comfortable. There was a large whirlpool tub in the bathroom, which was very enjoyable after a long day of running around sightseeing.

It is conveniently located opposite the largest mall in South Island, easy walking distance to many restaurants, and just 3 minutes’ walk from the Metro Bus Lounge,... The bed was so comfortable after 36 hours travelling it was bliss to fall into. Perfect location. Everything you could need across the road and handy for bus into the city centre.

A well kept motel. We had a two bed unit. Us+ 5yo. Clean. Well serviced. Gave us a gift of chocolates as it was Xmas. I recommend this place.
