They made me steamed vegetables. Norbu, the owner, had some tsampa-from his mother-that is stone milled, which tastes more delicious than electric milled tsampa. I had it with boiling water and a bit of honey. Very healthy breakfast, after askign them to avoid oil. Everyone in Southeast Asia uses too much oil, but here they were able to cut back. The Momos (tibetan dumpllings of buffalo, chicken or vegetables) were wonderful. Better than the Tibetan place nearby called New Amala. One night, Norbu made a bean and corn soup from Sulugumpo where he comes from. It is from his ethnic background, called Sherpa. The cleaning staff were incredibly good.

Excellent location, very close to Boudha Stupa very happy to be in walking distance from various restaurants, cafes and temples. Staff are very helpful and supportive of giving directions and helping with challenging taxi fares. The restaurant is very accommodating for dietary concerns. I am gluten free and felt very well with the traditional breakfast (just ask to swap roti with potato). Being the first time travelling to Nepal we were very happy with the care we received and how friendly everyone is.
