Dvouhvězdičkový Hotel Oorsprongpark najdete v Utrechtu, 50 metrů od autobusové zastávky Oorsprongpark. The location was about 25 minutes walk from Utrecht Central. But along the way to this hotel, there is plenty of lively food and pub options. Halfway through the distance to this hotel, it quietens down considerably. But still there is a large Jumbo and Albert Heijn which are both large supermarkets where you can any grocery. The hotel itself is cosy and lovely. I got a twin room and it was large, super clean and everything worked and was suffient for my 2 night stay. My family and I loved this place. The heating working great too and there was a window which you could open for fresh air. It also overlooked a small garden and you can see part of a small canal running through the back of the hotel. Clear instructions related to our stay was printed out onto a piece of paper and handed to us together with our room key.

Nearby shops and small supermarkets enable meal flexibility and the sounds of the water in the canal contribute to the uniqueness of the premises.

Although the owner seems to live in the house above, I appreciated the absolute privacy you enjoy with a separate entrance and your own little world. The studio is super well equipped, super clean, and the host left a number of personal attentions - basically enough food and drinks for a first late night arrival or next day breakfast. Everything was very personal. I really appreciated this place. The neighborhood is great, both close to the centre and also really local, not just tourists - excellent shops nearby, I recommend the "Odin" organic little supermarket just on the corner, where you can get great ready-made organic meals (either typical Dutch or more Indian/Indosenian/Chinese) that you can reheat in the microwave. Great bakery, cheese shop, coffee shop, you can really be autonomous. Marjolein was a welcoming and uncomplicated host.
