Crowne Plaza South is located in South-Amsterdam, just a 5-minute walk from station Amsterdam Zuid which connects guests to the city center within 10 minutes. The ambience , the staff behavior , the breakfast , the proximity to my office and the train stations and being centrally located . Most of all it was the comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff.

Very quiet location, the double room was quite large with all needed amenities (a small fridge, ironing facilities, kettle, aircon, perfect wifi connection, large desk and comfortable chair, a safe large enough to store a laptop, good hairdryer). The fresh fragrance when entering the hotel and the room. Big plus for the fluffy soft towels and the green tea toiletries. Having the bus stop just outside the door was very convenient on a business trip, and easy to reach the 3 main stations nearby, Zuid, RAI, or Amstel, from where metro, buses, trams would take one anywhere in Amsterdam. A small corner near the hotel's entrance functions as a self-service mini-market with essentials, drinks and snacks. People at the concierge are very helpful, charming, and welcoming.
