Staff is very professional as you would expect in a 4 star+ hotel. Price was an excellent value. Last minute booking, we canceled another place because we wanted this bigger room here. This met expectations. Room was very large, spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. Our room had a nice view toward a small Church (some rooms may not?). The immediate area 2-3 blocks looked a bit rough, but I took a walk in the morning and found some delightful small streets with a lot of impressive murals, a small park and it was very artsy. There may have been more I missed. Breakfast was a good portion, great. I would come here again for sure (we may even book again later in this trip on return to Puebla).

Casa Pepe is a restored 17th-century colonial mansion, situated 100 metres from Puebla’s main square and cathedral. Every workers of the hostel treated me very nicely and the hostel itself in general was very clean. I would definitely revisit the place. It was such a pleasant experience at the hostel. One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Highly and surely recommended.
