Also, the location is right at the center of the Medina so everything was within reach for us if we needed anything.

Situated in the heart of Essaouira, this 200 year-old Moroccan riad offers traditional rooms. It features a courtyard with beautiful gardens and a fountain. Hamsa and Nehza were the best! They gave us handy tips, booked a camel ride and are the friendliest people in Morocco! The Dar was comfortable and quiet and breakfast was great. If you want to stay somewhere where you’ll feel absolutely at home Dar Rahaothello is for you.

Riad Jade Mogador deg velkommen i et unikt miljø. Her tilbys en koselig atmosfære. Hotellet er det perfekte valg for et avslappende opphold nær stranden. The staff were so friendly and on arrival we were greeted with smiles, tea and biscuits. Our room in the riad had windows to a narrow terrace, the decor was stylish, the bed the most comfortable we have slept in after 3 weeks in Morocco, and water pressure in the shower very good. Breakfast included omelette, lovely fresh bread, pancakes and honey with fresh coffee. We were also able to leave our bags after check out as our bus was hours later. In the midst of the Medina the riad was central to all that the medina has to offer, but it was still quiet at night and a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Offering a terrace and free WiFi, Dar Ann is located in the Mellah district in Essaouira, 6.2 km from Golf de Mogador. Dar Ann is a nice house in the heart of Medina. This is the right place to discover the real life in Essaouira. My room was on an independent floor and had like an additional front room with sofas. It was spacious and clean. I had my own, very nice bathroom and a big bed. I have been given my own keys and had 100% privacy. All looked exactly, like on the photos. There is an amazing roof top, where you can just be and look at the roofs of old Essaouira. To me: unique! Isabel is a very friendly and helpful lady. She explained to me the ways of moving around Medina and was there for me, whatever I needed. I had a lovely time there. Thank you Isabel!
