I like this hotel. The room was quite cozy and spacious for me, overlooking the road on a high floor, and it had everything I needed -- desk, entryway, closet, etc. The bed was very comfortable (soft) and I slept pretty well there. It's a bit of a walk to the Old Town of Riga but not too far. Also the staff were helpful, providing an electric kettle on request as well as a laundry service. The building may be a bit old but I thought it was good value.

The room was remarkable, spacious and well appointed. It had black out curtains so I could sleep undisturbed by outside light. The bed was super comfortable, it truly was heavenly. The breakfast was superb! The location perfect so many activities nearby.

I actually only came for a football match. The city is pretty boring in comparison to other bigger European cities. Also the coldness of the local people is really not welcoming at all.

Riga is an interesting city perfect for a long weekend. The old town has quite lovely medieval architecture and the museum of Latvian occupation has well-presented, interesting exhibitions. The food id generally high quality, with a good range of restaurants. Riga has a stunning collection of art nouveau buildings in an area that’s a bit less touristed, definitely the most unique facet of the city. I do prefer Vilnius of the Baltic capitals, but Riga is a close second.

a very walkable city, flat with plenty of eateries, drinking places. The park was great to spend an afternoon . Bad point, was we saw a couple of rats, one in the centre of the town, after we were told about them by the Bolt driver. Maybe some rat traps to alleviate the problem

Excellent transport system. 3 day pass €8 etc. Lots of museums of the war and Latvia's history. KGB museum. Art nouveau area. I only ate in supermarket restaurants where you chose the portion, and you pay by weight. I eat small meals, but in restaurants they insist on piling on the food.

If you like a typical European old city, then Riga gives you that vibe. It is not a city with many modern buildings (exception was the Nation Library), and great public transport. To the best of my knowledge there is only 1 bus (no. 22) which takes you the airport
Excellent location, very close to the bus and train station, and also - literally a few steps to the old town. Breakfast was just delicious, great selection, lovely area, very bright. Staff very helpful and professional. Very smooth check-in and check out. There is also a direct connection to the Airport, by bus - and I paid just around €1 for a bus! Bus stop is actually nearly at the door step of the hotel. You can easily walk around and you will be able to reach most of the Riga tourist attractions within up to 20 minutes walking.
Very comfortable room with nice view on the river and city. Old town is just accross the bridge.Helpful staff. Wide range of selection for breakfast, good room service for dinner.

Great value!!! Hotel has a very peaceful feel to it, neighborhood is great and quiet, with lots of wondeful and delicious cafes within walking distance, also a large park is nearby. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly and warm!!! Location is amazing, very accessible to all places in the city, close to old town, city center and close airport (few minutes walk to stop for bus 22 that goes direct to airport). I would recommend staying here.
Very nice and clean hotel. We got a river view room. Beautiful panorama of the city at night. Bathroom with bathtub, free parking and very tasty breakfast. Close to the center. The cost of getting to the old town is 3eur - BOLT. I will definitely come back to Riga and to the same hotel. 10/10
Very well situated, near the old town and duite reachable with. There really ain't cheap parking places near Riga's old town but what can you do (hint : Origo shopping center is quite near and parking there is safe and less than half a price)
